First, the breakfast news everyone on the North Side has been waiting for: Tilly Bagel is heading to Lakeview. The Chicago-born bagel shop — founded by locals Hannah Tillett and Mike Banaszak, who launched their first location in 2023 in the South Loop — has been teasing their new storefront at 3162 N. Broadway on social media, and signage is already up. This will mark Tilly's third Chicago location, following their popular Fulton Market expansion, and it's bringing fresh, Chicago-style bagels right to the heart of the neighborhood.
