Summer in Ravenswood is stacking up fast — and two upcoming events are giving neighbors even more reasons to get out and celebrate. First, mark your calendar for July 28th: Ponnopozz, District, and the Greater Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce are teaming up to throw a 'Best of Chicago' Party right on the 4800 block of Damen Ave, running from 5:30–8:30pm. Expect an evening of local pop-ups, community connection, and good vibes — all in the heart of one of Ravenswood's most beloved commercial corridors. It's the kind of neighborhood block party that reminds you exactly why you love living here.

And if that's not enough, the full lineup for the Ravenswood On Tap Craft Beer & Music Fest — set for July 18–19 — is nothing short of spectacular. Beyond the local brews from all eight Malt Row breweries, this year's festival adds some seriously unique programming: live swordplay demos from the Chicago Swordplay Guild (yes, real medieval combat!), plus pop-up performances by Chicago's Alphorn Duo, The Rhinemaidens. The music roster runs deep, headlined by blues legends Toronzo Cannon and Joanna Connor on Sunday, with an eclectic Saturday lineup featuring Ganser, La Rosa Noir, Bev Rage & the Drinks, and more.
