Great news for coffee lovers in the 'Village Within the City' — a beloved Midwest roaster is planting roots right on Roscoe Street. Colectivo Coffee has set its sights on 2032 W. Roscoe Street for its newest Chicago café, with work already underway at the location and a fall 2026 opening on the horizon. The spot puts Colectivo right in the heart of the neighborhood, at the intersection of N. Seeley Avenue, just steps from Same Same Thai and some of Roscoe Village's most-strolled blocks.

Colectivo is no small newcomer to the Chicago scene. The coffee roasting company, founded in 1993, already operates six cafés across the city — including a recently opened location at 3258 N. Southport Avenue in Lakeview — and 12 additional spots in Milwaukee and Madison. Their menus are packed with house-roasted brews, specialty lattes, espresso drinks, matcha teas, hot chocolates, and all-day breakfast sandwiches — the kind of cozy, quality café experience that fits Roscoe Village's neighborhood-first spirit perfectly.
