Edgewater Music Fest Grows: Second Wave of Acts Coming & Vendors Still Wanted for August's Big Weekend

By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Edgewater ·

Edgewater's most buzzed-about summer event just got bigger. The Edgewater Chamber of Commerce is signaling that Edgewater Music Fest 2026 — already headlined by Ted Leo & The Pharmacists, NNAMDï, and Maps & Atlases — is far from fully revealed. According to the Chamber's official website, a second round of performers is still to be announced, with 20 more acts set to join the already-stacked bill across the festival's two stages on Broadway between Thorndale and Ardmore avenues, August 28–30.

But the excitement isn't just for music fans. The Chamber is also actively calling on local organizations to get involved in the fest's kids' programming component — a family-friendly dimension that could make this year's event even more of a true community gathering. And with 100+ vendors expected on-site alongside local food and drink, there's still time for small businesses and artisans to claim their spot. Interested vendors and sponsors can reach out directly at [email protected].

In the meantime, Chicago's only Monday farmers market keeps humming along every week at the corner of Broadway & Thorndale, featuring 30+ farmers and vendors offering fresh produce, baked goods, meats, prepared meals, and live music — every Monday at 3:00 p.m. through the season. Whether you're counting down to the August festival or just looking for a reason to get outside this week, Edgewater is delivering. Visit edgewater.org to stay up to date on every announcement.
