Back-to-Back Champions: The Stop Along Sweeps Burger Fest 2026 — Again

Roscoe Village's own The Stop Along just made neighborhood history. For the second year running, the beloved local tavern swept both the Critic's Choice and People's Choice awards at the 19th Annual Roscoe Village Burger Fest, held July 17–19 along Belmont Avenue between Western and Damen. Defending a double crown on your own block once is impressive — doing it two years in a row is the stuff of local legend.
The Stop Along earned its repeat glory in a stacked field of eleven Chicago burger heavyweights, including cult-favorite NADC Burger, Fatso's Last Stand, Tandoor Char House, and newcomer Reclaimed Bar & Restaurant.
