First, circle your calendars for August 21–23: the Lakeview Taco Fest is coming to town, hosted by the Lakeview Roscoe Village Chamber of Commerce. It's one of the neighborhood's most beloved late-summer traditions, and with tacos anchoring the menu, it's the kind of community celebration that brings everyone out onto the streets together. Meanwhile, if you haven't yet made it to Tilly's new Lake View outpost at 3162 N. Broadway, now is the time. The beloved Chicago bagel shop — which made its name as a pandemic-era pop-up before opening in the South Loop and West Loop — officially expanded to the Broadway corridor, bringing its inventive lineup with it: think a signature Chicago bagel topped with poppy seeds, mustard seeds, celery seeds, onion, dill, and giardiniera seasoning, alongside rotating weekly specials and handcrafted drinks like matcha lemonade and iced lattes.
