New 'Void' Restaurant Creates Buzz in Avondale's Thriving Food Scene

Avondale's dining landscape continues to evolve with the grand opening of Void, the neighborhood's newest culinary destination which launched on September 18th, 2025. The restaurant joins the area's impressive roster of eateries that have been making Avondale one of Chicago's most exciting food neighborhoods.

Honey Butter's new venture, Honey Butter Beach Club, opened on September 15th inside SPF Chicago, featuring their classic chicken dishes alongside beach-inspired options like a honey butter warmed lobster roll. Owners Christine Cikowski and Josh Kulp describe the concept as a "laid-back mix of comfort food and coastal flair."
