Unity Park Pumpkin Fest Returns to Logan Square this October

By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Logan Square ·

A cherished Logan Square tradition returns this fall as Unity Park (2636 N. Kimball Ave.) prepares to host its annual Pumpkin Fest. The family-friendly celebration will feature free pumpkins for children to decorate, a costume parade, DJ entertainment, face painting, and a special Dia de los Muertos station.

The event, organized by the Unity Park Advisory Council, has become a neighborhood staple for Halloween festivities, drawing hundreds of local families each year. Located just a short walk from the Logan Square Farmers Market, the celebration offers a welcoming space for community members to connect while enjoying seasonal activities. The park's playground area will be transformed with fall decorations, providing perfect photo opportunities for families.

With Halloween activities happening across Chicago as part of Mayor Brandon Johnson's citywide 'Fall Fest' initiative, Logan Square residents are encouraged to mark their calendars for this free community event. Whether you're a longtime resident or new to the neighborhood, Pumpkin Fest offers a perfect opportunity to meet neighbors and celebrate the season in one of Logan Square's beloved green spaces.
