New Dispensary Near Wrigley Field Gets Green Light From City Committee

Wrigleyville's business landscape is set to expand as Entourage Dispensary received zoning committee approval on Monday to open at 3650 N. Clark St., directly across from Wrigley Field. The dispensary, which will occupy the current site of Clark Street Sports, will become the closest cannabis shop to the Friendly Confines, joining the area's vibrant mix of entertainment and retail options.

Joseph Ori, Entourage's chief development officer, explained the location was chosen for its excellent access to public transit and the robust security presence already in place throughout the entertainment district. The dispensary plans to operate from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., complementing other businesses in the area. According to the company's operational plan, the new establishment will create additional jobs in the neighborhood while providing increased foot traffic to nearby businesses.

While the project still awaits final approval from the full City Council at its next meeting on November 14, this development represents the ongoing evolution of Wrigleyville's commercial landscape. The dispensary would join a diverse array of businesses that continue to make the area one of Chicago's most dynamic neighborhoods.
