Window Wonderland Returns to West Englewood: Local Businesses Compete for $2,500 Prize
By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/West Englewood ·
The fourth installment of Englewood Reimagined's Window Wonderland competition has officially launched, giving West Englewood businesses the chance to win $2,500 by creating festive storefront displays. This winter window display contest encourages local businesses to decorate their storefronts as symbols of a "reimagined" Englewood, with displays that tie to this theme through creativity, innovation, or reflections of Englewood's cultural identity.
The announcement comes as community networking continues to strengthen in West Englewood. Just last week, on November 4th, the Greater Englewood Chamber of Commerce hosted an energizing Happy Hour at Hidden Gem, located at 6330 S. Racine Ave. The event brought together business owners, community leaders, and entrepreneurs for an evening filled with meaningful connections, refreshing drinks, and valuable conversations.
Local businesses are encouraged to incorporate elements that represent the strength and transformation of West Englewood alongside holiday themes in their window displays. Residents can support participating businesses and are also invited to upcoming community events including the annual Share The Love WinterFest, one of several staple campus events that showcase the neighborhood's vibrant community spirit.
