Rogers Park's Annual Taco Crawl Returns to Camino Clark District This November

By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Rogers Park ·

The Rogers Park Taco Crawl is making its return to the neighborhood next week, featuring 22 restaurants across two distinct routes along North Clark Street. This year's event will be hosted within the state-designated Mexican Cultural District, Camino Clark, which focuses on promoting the unique cultural identity of Clark Street in Rogers Park while encouraging economic development through events that celebrate staple Chicago Mexican restaurants and empower small business owners.

Participants can check in at the event station located at 6950 N. Clark Street from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., with restaurants serving until 7 p.m. The check-in location will also feature a free photo booth where attendees can commemorate their taco-filled adventure. The crawl will take place on Clark Street between Devon and Rogers Avenues, with each ticket including one signature taco from participating eateries plus special offerings like margarita tastings at Supermercado Casa Roman and ice cream from La Michoacana. Organizers describe the event as a celebration of tacos as "not just a meal but a cultural treasure and a delicious tribute to Mexico's vibrant culinary heritage," inviting the community to enjoy an afternoon dedicated to tacos with plenty to savor and celebrate.

Rogers Park residents interested in participating should note that tickets are limited and available online. For more information about the event, participating restaurants, or to purchase tickets, visit the Rogers Park Business Alliance website at RPBA.org.
