Holiday Trolley Returns to University Village Little Italy for December Weekends

University Village Little Italy residents and visitors can look forward to the return of the beloved Holiday Trolley this December. Starting December 7th, the free trolley service will operate every weekend in December 2025, bringing festive cheer to Chicago's historic Italian-American neighborhood.

The trolley will run on Saturdays and Sundays (December 7-8, 14-15, 21-22) from 11 am to 6 pm, making stops at every CTA #60 Bus stop from California to Kostner Avenue. This seasonal transportation option allows riders to explore local shops, discover festive events, and support neighborhood small businesses during the holiday season.

The initiative, organized by the Little Village Chamber of Commerce, aims to boost holiday shopping while connecting community members in celebration. Residents are encouraged to shop locally and create memories along Taylor Street, the heart of Little Italy, where traditional Italian restaurants and bakeries offer seasonal specialties perfect for holiday gatherings.
