Lark Pizza Brings Artisanal Pies to Avondale's Guild Row Campus

Pizza lovers in Avondale have a new destination to satisfy their cravings as Lark Pizza officially opens its doors at the Guild Row campus. The newest venture from acclaimed restaurateur Steve Lewis of Meadowlark Hospitality brings neo-Neapolitan-style pizzas and individual Roman pinsas to the neighborhood.

The concept comes from the team behind Michelin-recognized establishments like Lardon, Union, and The Meadowlark, which was recently named one of North America's 50 Best Bars. Lewis has collaborated with Guild Row founders Jim Lasko and Elyse Agnello to create this exciting new culinary destination. Diners can expect blistered, airy, crisp crusts topped with seasonal ingredients, house-cured salumi, fresh salads, and neo-Italian small plates. The restaurant's design by architecture firm DAAM features a striking red wood-fired oven, industrial furnishings, exposed brick, and a spacious 2,600-square-foot patio.

Avondale residents are encouraged to visit the new establishment, which adds to the neighborhood's growing reputation as one of Chicago's most vibrant food destinations.
