Millennium Park Ice Skating Rink Opens as Holiday Festivities Transform The Loop

The Loop's festive transformation continues as the Millennium Park ice skating rink opened for the season this weekend, bringing winter joy to downtown Chicago. Lincoln Square resident Jean Suarez has made it a tradition to be among the first skaters on the freshly smoothed ice. "Just having peace and joy in the fits in ways that we can do it, it's so important to recognize what we're grateful for; the small things like today, being on the ice in the sun," Juarez shared.
