Archer Heights Businesses to Shine in Chicago Bites Back Crawl This Friday

By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Archer Heights ·

Local businesses along Archer Avenue are gearing up for the Chicago Bites Back Business Crawl taking place this Friday, November 21, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. The community-focused event aims to support neighborhood entrepreneurs while raising funds for the Southwest Side Rapid Response Team. Participants can pick up bingo cards from Illinois 24th District State Representative Theresa Mah's office between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., or from One City Tap between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.

The event offers a unique opportunity for residents to discover local businesses while collecting stamps on their bingo cards. Participants who collect four stamps will receive a free T-shirt designed by McKinley Park artist Mayra Hernandez, while even one stamp earns a complimentary beer at One City Tap, where the crawl concludes with music and refreshments. This initiative showcases the vibrant business community along Archer Avenue and encourages neighborhood solidarity during the pre-holiday season.

Archer Heights residents are encouraged to join the business crawl this Friday to support local entrepreneurs and connect with neighbors. For more information about participating businesses and the event route, visit Representative Mah's office at 2108 W. 35th St. or contact the Archer Heights Civic Association.
