Taylor Street Holiday Market Returns With Expanded Local Vendor Lineup for 2025 Season

The Taylor Street Holiday Market is returning to University Village Little Italy this weekend with an expanded lineup of local vendors and artisans for the 2025 season. The market, organized by the University Village Association, will feature over 30 neighborhood businesses showcasing their seasonal specialties along the historic cultural corridor of Chicago's Italian-American district.
The celebration builds on the success of previous community events hosted by the Little Italy Chicago Neighborhood Association (LICNA) and produced by Taylor Street native Ron Onesti, honoring the legacy of Italian immigrants who first settled the area in the late 1800s. Visitors can enjoy a broad mix of offerings including traditional Italian cuisine alongside diverse options from the neighborhood's growing culinary scene, which now features Indian, Thai, Portuguese and French cuisine in addition to traditional Italian fare and Italian ice. Longtime neighborhood establishments including Tuscany on Taylor, Peanut Park Trattoria, and the recently reopened Rosebud will offer seasonal specialties.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to stroll through the festively decorated historic district while enjoying live music performances and family-friendly activities throughout the weekend. The market coincides with special holiday menu offerings at local restaurants where guests can enjoy a warm, inviting atmosphere with signature dishes, seasonal specialties, and curated wines and cocktails.
