The historic homes of West Pullman will open their doors for one special night as the Holiday Candlelight House Tour returns on December 14. This beloved annual tradition invites visitors to explore beautifully decorated residences throughout the historic district, all illuminated by the warm glow of candlelight.

The event showcases West Pullman's rich architectural heritage while creating a festive community atmosphere during the holiday season. Homeowners spend weeks preparing their historic properties, many dating back to the neighborhood's early industrial era, with period-appropriate decorations and lighting. The tour also highlights West Pullman's beautiful natural setting, including the neighborhood's mature stands of oaks, hickories, and cherries that cover an ancient river bank—one of Chicago's few remaining native landscapes.
