South Loop's British International School Shines at Global Games Competition This Week

South Loop residents have reason to celebrate as the British International School of Chicago, South Loop (BISC-SL) is representing the neighborhood at Nord Anglia Education's prestigious Global Games, taking place December 3-7, 2025, at Windermere Preparatory School. The vibrant sporting competition has united over 1,000 students from 20 schools across North, Central, and South America in a celebration of athletic achievement and global connectedness.

The school has sent an impressive contingent of 91 student athletes to compete across multiple disciplines. Their dedication is already yielding results, with BISC-SL teams showing exceptional skill in team sports. Student athletes are participating in girls' flag football, basketball, volleyball, boys' volleyball, and swimming events, demonstrating the school's strong athletic program and commitment to developing well-rounded students. The competition serves as a powerful catalyst for personal growth, cultural exchange, and the development of essential life skills for these South Loop students, who return to the neighborhood on December 8th.
