By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Archer Heights ·
The Archer Heights Branch of the Chicago Public Library is inviting neighborhood residents to participate in a variety of special events this Thursday, December 4, as part of its expanded winter programming calendar. The library has organized several community-focused activities throughout the day, including an interactive Computer Cafe for adults seeking to improve their digital skills, and engaging story times for families with young children.
The day's offerings include the popular Itty-Bitty Family Story Time with Ms. Beronica at 10:30 AM, where families with children up to age 7 can enjoy songs, rhymes, and stories in a welcoming environment. For adults looking to enhance their technological proficiency, the library is offering one-on-one basic computer skills development sessions through Chicago Digital Learn at multiple times throughout the day. These sessions are part of the library's ongoing commitment to providing educational resources that strengthen digital literacy within the Archer Heights community.
Residents interested in participating in any of the day's activities are encouraged to register in advance through the Chicago Public Library website or by visiting the branch at 5055 S. Archer Avenue. With the winter season now underway, the library continues to serve as a vital community hub offering free, accessible programming for Archer Heights residents of all ages.
