Palmer Square Winter Bazaar Expands with Local Food Partnerships and Community Workshops
By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Palmer Square ·
The Palmer Square Winter Bazaar is bringing more than 50 local vendors to the former Extraordinarium retail space, creating a vibrant community gathering spot during Chicago's colder months. Unlike temporary holiday markets, this seasonal initiative will offer residents a consistent weekend destination, with operations continuing every Saturday through March 29, 2026.
The expanded bazaar now features exciting new partnerships with neighborhood eateries, including rotating food pop-ups showcasing Palmer Square's diverse culinary talents. Visitors can browse a carefully curated selection of handcrafted gifts including jewelry, custom-made clothing and accessories, artisanal candles, handcrafted toys, and original art pieces. The market organizers have also announced a series of weekly community workshops where attendees can learn crafting skills directly from participating artisans, creating a more interactive experience for neighborhood residents.
Community members interested in participating as vendors, workshop leaders, or volunteers should contact the Palmer Square Park Advisory Council through their website. The Winter Bazaar offers a perfect opportunity to support local artisans while connecting with neighbors during Chicago's winter months.
