Wicker Park's Indoor Farmers Market Relocates to Royal Palms for Winter Season Kickoff This Sunday

The popular Wicker Park Indoor Farmers Market is getting a fresh start in a new location this winter season. Beginning Sunday, December 7, the market will move from its previous home at The Robey Hall to the vibrant Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club at 1750 N. Milwaukee Avenue, offering residents a tropical escape during the cold Chicago months.

This year's expanded lineup features more than 15 rotating vendors offering everything from fresh produce, meat, and eggs to artisanal coffee, handmade jewelry, and seasonal specialties. Notable vendors include Pickled Prince with their Chicago-made giardiniera and hot sauces, Anticonquista Cafe (Chicago's first family farm-owned coffee roaster), and Hook Point Fisheries bringing wild-caught Alaskan seafood. The market will run from 10am to 2pm and will continue on select Sundays through the winter.

The tropical-themed Royal Palms venue, known for its 10 shuffleboard courts and resort-style atmosphere, creates a unique shopping environment that aligns with the market's community focus. "Following a bustling summer market season, the Wicker Park Farmers Market will continue indoors, giving Chicagoans the chance to stock up on fresh produce and local goods throughout the winter," said Pamela Maass, Executive Director of the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce. Neighborhood residents are encouraged to visit the free event this Sunday and follow @WickerPark_FarmersMarket on Instagram for updates throughout the season.
