By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Archer Heights ·

The Archer Heights Branch of the Chicago Public Library is spreading holiday cheer with a special 'Wrap, Chat and Be Merry' gift wrapping station this Sunday, December 14, 2025. The free community event offers residents a convenient space to wrap their holiday presents while connecting with neighbors in a festive atmosphere.

The initiative, which still has 36 spots available for registration, provides a perfect solution for keeping gifts a surprise from curious family members. This community-focused event runs alongside other engaging Sunday programming at the branch, including the Teen Art Studio where young artists can express their creativity with supplied materials, and various recreational activities for residents of all ages. The Archer Heights Library continues its tradition of serving as a vital community hub during the holiday season, offering accessible programming in a welcoming environment.

Residents interested in participating can register through the Chicago Public Library website or visit the branch at 5055 S. Archer Avenue. The Archer Heights Civic Association, which meets regularly at the UNO Veterans Memorial Campus School, encourages community members to take advantage of this opportunity to connect with neighbors while preparing for the holiday season.
