First Block of Habitat Chicago's Townhome Development Nears Completion as West Pullman Housing Renaissance Continues

West Pullman residents have reason to celebrate this holiday season as Habitat for Humanity Chicago's ambitious 20-unit townhome development reaches a significant milestone. The first block of four townhomes is expected to be completed by the end of 2025, marking tangible progress in the neighborhood's housing revitalization efforts.

"We are proud to deepen our investment in West Pullman through this 20-unit townhome project," stated Jennifer Parks, Habitat Chicago's Executive Director. "West Pullman has many incredible assets on which to build, and inviting 20 new homebuyers to invest in this community alongside other long-tenured homeowners creates a lasting impact both at an individual and neighborhood level." Located across from the future 12-acre Morgan Park Commons, these new two-story homes feature individual garages and community green spaces, enhancing the neighborhood's housing options.
