The Loop's Millennium Park North Promenade has transformed into a vibrant holiday destination with the launch of the expanded Winter Garden Plaza, featuring more than 40 local artisans and small businesses. The enhanced market, which opened last weekend, offers Loop visitors an immersive winter experience complete with interactive light installations and seasonal culinary offerings.

The market features a curated selection of locally-made gifts and crafts alongside an expanded food pavilion showcasing Chicago's diverse culinary scene. "Throughout the month of December, visitors and residents can enjoy a festive lineup of the Millennium Park Holiday Sing-Along series at Cloud Gate," said a DCASE representative, highlighting the community-focused programming that accompanies the market. Nearby at Daley Plaza, the iconic German-inspired Christkindlmarket continues to draw crowds with its timber chalets stocked with handmade gifts, authentic German food, and the market's signature hot spiced glühwein served in collectible boot mugs.
