Angelo's Stuffed Pizza Brings Cultural Twist to Three Kings Day in Archer Heights

By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Archer Heights ·

Archer Heights favorite Angelo's Stuffed Pizza has created a buzz in the neighborhood with their innovative take on a beloved holiday tradition. The family-owned restaurant, a community staple since 1992, has extended their popular Three Kings Day promotion featuring their unique 'Rosca Pizza' after overwhelming customer response.

The creative offering puts a Chicago spin on the traditional Rosca de Reyes bread by incorporating the holiday custom into their famous stuffed pizza. Following the cultural tradition where small plastic baby Jesus figures are hidden in the Rosca bread, Angelo's pizza version includes these figures baked into their signature stuffed pies with festive toppings of pepperoni, ham, green pepper, and pineapple. As per tradition, customers who find the figures in their slice are promised good luck.

Residents can still experience this cultural fusion by visiting Angelo's at 4850 S Pulaski Rd or placing an order by phone. 'This shows how our neighborhood businesses embrace and celebrate our diverse community traditions,' noted a local customer. The restaurant continues to serve as both a culinary and cultural hub in Archer Heights, with their innovative approach bringing together different cultural traditions through food.
