Thousands to Ascend 94 Floors at Hustle Chicago Stair Climb in The Loop This February
By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/The Loop ·
The Loop's skyline will become an arena for fitness and philanthropy as the Hustle Chicago® stair climb returns to 875 N. Michigan Avenue (formerly the Hancock Building) on February 22, 2026. This premier winter fitness event is set to bring thousands of participants together to conquer 94 floors in support of lung health and clean air initiatives.
Participants will tackle 1,632 steps to reach the summit, where they'll celebrate their accomplishment while enjoying breathtaking views of Chicago's cityscape and lakefront. Every step taken supports the Respiratory Health Association's mission to prevent lung disease and promote clean air for all Chicagoans. Beyond the physical challenge, climbers receive an event t-shirt, bib, finisher's medal, and entry to the Hustle Chicago After Party at the nearby Hilton Chicago Magnificent Mile Suites, featuring local vendors providing food, drinks, and other post-climb refreshments.
The event attracts diverse participants—some climb for personal fitness goals, others dedicate their efforts to honor loved ones affected by respiratory conditions like asthma, COPD, or lung cancer. Whatever their motivation, Loop residents and visitors are encouraged to register for this inspiring community event that transforms the neighborhood's iconic architecture into a platform for positive change and collective achievement.
