Among them is Buttercup in the South Loop, a unique dual-concept venue functioning as a café by day and an amaro bar by night. The 40-seat destination draws inspiration from Northern Italy's café culture and features one of the country's largest amaro collections alongside a menu of elevated Italian fare crafted by chef Alex Carnovale, whose impressive background includes The French Laundry.
