By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Andersonville ·

Andersonville welcomes its newest business, Heritage Home Supply & Little Greene Paint and Paper, with a grand opening celebration at 5117 N. Clark Street this weekend. The opening serves as a highlight of the inaugural 'Explore and Restore' wellness event taking place Saturday, January 24, from 10am to 2pm.

Owner Benjamin Bloom expressed enthusiasm about joining the neighborhood's vibrant business community: "Opening Heritage Home Supply in Andersonville feels like coming home. This is a neighborhood where independent businesses, creativity and care for craftsmanship already coexist in a really organic way." The store specializes in heritage brands and family-run makers, featuring Swedish inventors and British paint mills among their curated selection.

The 'Explore and Restore' event, organized by the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce as part of the annual Swedish-inspired Säg Hej celebration, invites residents to explore wellness offerings throughout the district. Visitors can check in at The Clark Street Trading Post (5706 N. Clark St.) to receive a punch card and full event schedule, with pop-ups from businesses without brick-and-mortar locations. Community members interested in attending can register for free at the Chamber's website.
