Galewood Neighbors Partners with Trinity Church for New 'Need to Feed' Community Outreach Program
By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Galewood ·
Galewood residents will soon have access to a new free community support initiative as Galewood Neighbors announces a partnership with Trinity Galewood Church. The 'Need to Feed Community Outreach' program will provide no-cost services to those in need within the neighborhood, working with professionals to offer both physical and spiritual support beginning this May and continuing monthly.
A key highlight of the initiative is the participation of Fatso Hard Kitchen LLC, which will kick off the food distribution by providing 50 pre-packaged meals on the first Saturday of each month. These meals will be available on a first-come, first-served basis to community members. The program represents Galewood Neighbors' ongoing mission to engage residents and businesses to preserve and advance a clean, safe, and thriving community while promoting community through organized neighborhood events and volunteer efforts.
Residents interested in learning more about the new outreach program or volunteering their services can visit the Galewood Neighbors website or attend their next monthly meeting. This initiative adds to the neighborhood's reputation as a well-organized and close community that offers numerous organized activities for residents throughout the year.
