Milwaukee Ave. Is on Fire: Tacos del Barrio and a Korean Late-Night Spot Are Headed to Logan Square
By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Logan Square ·
Logan Square's Milwaukee Avenue corridor is showing no signs of slowing down, with not one but two exciting new dining concepts set to land in the neighborhood this year — and the block has never looked more delicious.
One of a Kind Hospitality, the group behind beloved Logan Square staples Café Con Leche and La Victoria, is doubling down on the neighborhood with the arrival of Tacos del Barrio, a fast-casual Mexican restaurant taking over the former Furious Spoon space at 2410 N. Milwaukee Ave. If that weren't enough, the group is also working on a brand-new bar in the adjacent storefront — details still to come, but the buzz is already building. The expansion is part of a wave of growth that has seen major hospitality players, from Four Corners (Federales) to Eat Well Hospitality (Andros Taverna, Mano a Mano), plant flags along Milwaukee Ave. in recent years.
Meanwhile, a new Korean street food concept called Mansun Pocha is also making moves into Logan Square, setting up shop at the former Roadhouse near the neighborhood's center. The late-night Korean dining spot has been building anticipation on social media (@mansun_chicago on Instagram) ahead of its opening. Between Tacos del Barrio and Mansun Pocha, Logan Square's dining scene is heating up fast — follow both spots on social media and be among the first through the door when they open!
