First, the sizzling news: Hattie B's Hot Chicken has officially landed in Wrigleyville, opening its first-ever Illinois location — and its first Midwest outpost — at 3649 N. Clark St. at Gallagher Way, right next to Wrigley Field. The Nashville-based chain, renowned for its signature hot chicken served across a range of heat levels from Southern-fried mild to blazing Nashville hot, moved into the former Foxtrot space with a 3,265-square-foot footprint featuring 70 indoor seats and a 55-seat outdoor patio with retractable walls perfect for game-day crowds. The design even gives a local nod — look for neon chickens sporting Chicago Cubs hats on the walls. Hours run 10:45 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and until midnight on weekends. It's a welcome new anchor for Gallagher Way's growing dining lineup, and Hattie B's has already committed to two more Chicago locations by early 2027.
