Your Favorite Sunday Tradition Just Got a Major Upgrade: The Logan Square Farmers Market Finds Its Forever Home
By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Palmer Square ·
Palmer Square neighbors, the market you've been showing up for every Sunday morning is about to get its biggest glow-up yet. The Logan Square Farmers Market — named Best Farmers Market in Chicago by the Chicago Reader for seven years running — is officially moving to its permanent new home at the redesigned Milwaukee Avenue plaza and a stretch of Logan Boulevard for the 2026 outdoor season. After 18 years on Logan Boulevard and two transitional seasons on Kedzie, the market has found its forever address at 2620 N. Milwaukee Ave., with opening day set for Sunday, May 10, starting at 8:30 a.m.
The new footprint is ambitious: 103 rotating vendor booths along Logan Boulevard and inside the new Milwaukee plaza, including 44 weekly farmers, plus 14 vintage vendors set up at La Placita in front of Reno, Same Day Cafe, and neighboring Kedzie businesses. And this year, for the first time in two seasons, vendor applications were fully open to new applicants — meaning fresh faces and new flavors will be joining the beloved staples you already know. The chamber has also launched a new mobile app from local brother-run company Rich Off Creative Minds so shoppers can browse the full vendor roster and locate specific booths before they even step outside.
For Palmer Square residents, this is the Sunday ritual that's been a cornerstone of neighborhood life — and it's only getting better. Download the Logan Square Farmers Market app, mark May 10 on your calendar, and get ready to meet your new favorite vendor.
