The Friends of Pullman National Historical Park, co-sponsored by the Illinois Labor History Society, is hosting its Pullman Labor History Tour on Sunday, May 17, kicking off at 1 p.m. at the Pullman Exhibit Hall. It's a powerful, immersive experience right in the backyard of West Pullman, connecting neighbors to one of the most consequential chapters in American labor history.
The tour brings to life the dramatic story of Pullman workers who walked off the job in the 1890s, launching a nationwide strike that forever reshaped the American labor movement.
