Logan Square, the wait is over — your summer soundtrack has officially been announced. The Logan Square Arts Foundation dropped the full musical lineup for the 2026 Arts Fest this week, and it's stacked. The festival runs June 26–28 at the Illinois Centennial Monument and expanded plaza at 3150 W. Logan Blvd., and this year's bill features 38 acts across three nights of performances.

The headliners alone are worth circling on your calendar. New York-based indie project Porches takes the main stage on June 26, followed by Minneapolis indie pop duo Bad Bad Hats on June 27, and American Idol alum Catie Turner closing things out on June 28. But the local flavor is just as exciting: Naydja Bruton's Rhythm Ninjas bring their jazz-adjacent energy on night one, while South Side rock band The Dead Bolts and Sophia Cruz — voted the Chicago Reader's Best Singer-Songwriter and Best R&B Artist of 2025 — hit the stage on the final night. Avondale's own Billy Joel Jr., billed as the next Chicago band you don't know about, rounds out a lineup that's as neighborhood-rooted as it gets.

The festival has drawn more than 400,000 visitors since 2009, and this comeback edition — the 14th in 17 years — is shaping up to be the biggest yet. Entry is free, with a

0 suggested donation at the gates. Start planning your weekend now, Logan Square, and tell your neighbors which night you're most excited for!
