Long Ave. Community members are invited to learn about key findings from the ongoing study and weigh in on what improvements could transform Irving Park Road for pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers alike. A Pita Inn restaurant — which would be the first Chicago location for the beloved suburban staple — along with a Burlington department store and a Wells Fargo branch are all slated to open at the former Sears Auto Center site at 4035 N. Cicero Ave. Developer Novak Construction, the team behind the 6 Corners Lofts, plans to build three standalone buildings on the site, with completion projected for late 2026.
