Two New Restaurants Are Bringing Bold Flavors to Clark Street This Year

By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Andersonville ·

Andersonville's dining scene is getting even more delicious in 2026, with two exciting restaurants setting their sights on the neighborhood's beloved Clark Street corridor.

First, a familiar North Side face is planting new roots. Patricia Guerrero — the owner behind the beloved Edgewater Tacos — is opening De Colores Mexican Grill at 5403 N. Clark St. Unlike her pick-up-style taco shop, De Colores promises a full sit-down experience with plenty of seating and a rear patio, continuing a family restaurant legacy that stretches back to the 1980s when her father opened Durango Mexican Restaurant in the area. Guerrero and her brother were born and raised in Edgewater, and this new venture carries deep personal roots.

Meanwhile, Noble Thai — a West Town favorite that landed on Eater's list of best Thai restaurants in 2025 — is expanding to Andersonville, taking over the former Parson's Chicken & Fish space at 5721 N. Clark St. The spot comes with a bar, a full dining room, and a spacious north-end patio that's sure to be a warm-weather hotspot. "We can't wait to expand to Chicago's North Side," the restaurant shared on social media.

Two new kitchens, two fresh menus, and one very hungry neighborhood. Keep an eye on both spots and show some Clark Street love when they open their doors!
