Logan Square Preservation Launches 'Lost and Found' Music Venue Tour — And You've Got All Month to Explore It
By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Logan Square ·
Logan Square's rich musical soul is taking center stage this June, thanks to a new adventure from Logan Square Preservation. The neighborhood organization just kicked off its 2026 PastPort tour, and this year's theme — "Logan Square Music: Lost and Found" — is a love letter to the venues that gave the neighborhood its legendary sound.
The self-paced bar crawl highlights ten local music venues with deep historical roots, encouraging neighbors to discover, visit, and support the spots that have quietly kept Logan Square's live music culture alive. The series runs through July 7, giving you plenty of time to collect all ten unique stamps in your PastPort booklet. You can pick up your booklet at the Logan Square Farmers Market on Sundays, or snag one at Fireside Bowl (2646 W. Fullerton Ave.) on June 11 — where a special exhibit of vintage posters and photos of Logan Square's "lost" venues will be on display, assembled from archivists and community members who contributed memories spanning decades. Purchases aren't required to earn a stamp at each stop, but organizers are encouraging neighbors to show some love to these cornerstone venues. "These are our neighborhood resources. We want to use them, support them and keep them with us," said Marcy Marzuki of the Logan Square Preservation Board.
This is a rare chance to walk through your neighborhood's musical history — one stamp at a time. Have you picked up your PastPort yet? Share which venue surprised you most with your neighbors on Socialhood!
