Summer Is On: Archer Park Rolls Out Its Biggest Weekly Programming Lineup Yet for 2026

Summer has officially arrived in Archer Heights — and Archer Park is ready for it. The beloved 14-acre neighborhood park is launching its most packed weekly schedule in recent memory, with programs running nearly every day of the week starting this month and stretching all the way through August.

Beyond the popular six-week day camp (June 22–July 31, weekdays from 9am–3pm), Archer Park is debuting a new recurring Saturday programming block this summer — running every Saturday from June 20 through August 8, with sessions offered from 12pm–2pm and again from 2pm–4pm, giving families flexible afternoon options right in the heart of the neighborhood. Additional weekday afternoon enrichment runs Monday through Friday from 3pm–5pm, and a late-summer intensive wraps up the season August 17–21. With baseball fields, a basketball court, a soccer and football athletic field, a playground, and an interactive water spray feature all on-site, the park offers something for every age group from the moment school lets out.
