Palmer Square neighbors, your local library branch is pulling serious weight this summer — and if you haven't stopped by lately, you're missing out. The Chicago Public Library's Logan Square Branch at 3030 W. Fullerton is packed with free community programming throughout July, making it one of the most quietly essential gathering spots on the Northwest Side right now.

This week alone, the branch is hosting Tween Club this afternoon (Monday, July 20) from 3:30–5 p.m. — a weekly drop-in crafting and gaming hangout for kids ages 8–13. Later this week, Ms. Erica's beloved acoustic guitar Story Time returns Friday morning, offering bilingual songs in English and Spanish for little ones ages 0–5 and their caregivers.
