Rogers Park's Biggest Festival Weekend Is Almost Here — Pierogi Fiesta & Glenwood Avenue Arts Fest Are Days Away
By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Rogers Park ·
Rogers Park neighbors, if you thought the summer was winding down, think again. The Far North Side is about to hit peak festival season, and this week is your warm-up lap. Tonight, Tuesday, August 4, the 24th Police District is hosting its annual National Night Out celebration from 5:00–7:00 p.m. at district headquarters at 6464 N. Clark Street — a free, family-friendly block party tradition that brings neighbors and community together right in the heart of Rogers Park.
But the real headline is just around the corner. This Saturday, August 8, Jarvis Square comes alive for the beloved Pierogi Fiesta — one of the neighborhood's most eagerly anticipated summer traditions, packed with food, fun, and that signature Rogers Park energy that you simply can't find anywhere else in Chicago. Then, just one week later, the Glenwood Avenue Arts Fest takes over August 14–16, transforming one of the city's most storied arts corridors into a three-day celebration of local creativity, live music, and community spirit.
Three marquee events in less than two weeks — that's Rogers Park doing what it does best. Head to rpba.org and rogerspark.com for full schedules, vendor lineups, and everything you need to make the most of the Far North Side's hottest stretch of summer. Bring the whole family, bring your neighbors, and get ready to celebrate.
