Logan Square's reputation as Chicago's most exciting dining neighborhood isn't slowing down one bit. This summer, a wave of fresh concepts is giving neighbors even more reasons to explore the blocks around Milwaukee Avenue — and the variety on offer is nothing short of remarkable.
First up: Mansun Pocha, a Korean street food concept, is taking over the former Roadhouse space near the heart of the neighborhood. Owner James Shin — who also runs New Village Gastro Pub in Northbrook — promises a menu that blends bold Korean flavors with a high-energy late-night vibe, featuring dishes like fried dumplings, corn cheese, and soy popcorn chicken. Meanwhile, The Radicle, the intimate aperitivo-forward cocktail bar from James Beard-nominated chef Joe Frillman and bar director Nicole Yarovinsky (the acclaimed team behind Daisies), is now open at 2523 N. Milwaukee Ave. — and is already buzzing as one of the neighborhood's most atmospheric new hangouts. And over at 2763 N. Milwaukee Ave., Rasa Indian Cuisine and Bar has been quietly winning over neighbors since its March opening, bringing a celebration of North and South Indian dishes — and a whole lot of heart — to a storefront that badly needed new life.
