First, mark August 14–16 on your calendars: the Chicago Air and Water Show is returning to the Near North Side lakefront for one of the most beloved free spectacles in the entire country. Expect roaring jets, daring aerial stunts, and a lakefront packed shoulder-to-shoulder with awed spectators — it's the kind of only-in-Chicago moment that reminds you exactly why you chose this neighborhood.

Meanwhile, the River North Residents Association is shaking up its summer programming in a big way. The beloved Taste of River North has officially evolved into River North LIVE! — a reinvented three-day music festival set against a backdrop of Chicago's iconic architecture and river views.
