Bricktown Is Getting a Riverside Taproom: Phase Three Brewing Is Coming to Avondale
By Socialhood News · Il/Chicago/Avondale ·
Avondale's already buzzing food-and-drink scene is about to get even more exciting. Phase Three Brewing — the acclaimed craft brewery with a loyal following across the Chicago area — has announced plans to open a brand-new taproom at 3057 N. Rockwell Street in Avondale, right on the North Branch of the Chicago River. The news broke this week, and Bricktown is already buzzing.
The location couldn't be more fitting. The building sits directly alongside Rockwell on the River event venue, with Soul & Smoke and Dolce Arte also calling the space home — making it one of the most vibrant riverside dining-and-entertainment clusters on the northwest side. Phase Three co-founder Evan Morris has confirmed the taproom debut is slated for later this year, with a kitchen addition planned down the line in Q4 of 2027. For now, neighbors can look forward to cold pints in a riverfront setting that's hard to beat on a summer evening — or any evening, for that matter.
And if that's not enough new energy for Bricktown, Zoomies — a membership-based indoor dog park with a full-service bar and coffee space — is also in the pipeline for Avondale this year, giving both four-legged and two-legged residents a brand-new hangout. Follow Phase Three Brewing at @phasethreebrew on Instagram for the latest on their Avondale opening, and get ready to raise a glass to Bricktown's newest riverside gem.
