Glenwood Avenue Arts Fest Takes Over Rogers Park This Weekend — 100+ Artists, Live Music & More

Rogers Park neighbors, the Far North Side's most celebrated arts tradition is finally here. The Glenwood Avenue Arts Fest (GAAF) runs this Friday through Sunday, August 14–16, transforming the iconic Glenwood Avenue Arts District into a three-day outdoor showcase unlike anything else in Chicago.
Now in its third decade, GAAF is one of the city's most beloved grassroots festivals — organized entirely by the community, for the community. This year's lineup features over 100 artist booths, open studio tours, and live entertainment across multiple outdoor stages, all completely free to attend. What makes GAAF truly special is the direct connection between attendees and creators: this is one of the rare festivals where you can meet the maker, hear the story behind the work, and bring home something genuinely one-of-a-kind. Friday doors open at 6 p.m., with Saturday and Sunday offering full daytime programming along the cobblestone corridor.

RPBA's PROGRESANDO entrepreneurial training program — an 8-week business development series offered in Spanish — kicks off Monday, August 24, giving neighborhood entrepreneurs the tools to build and grow right here in Rogers Park.
