West Town & Wicker Park Business Mixer Returns for Fall Networking Event

Local business owners and community members are preparing to connect at the West Town & Wicker Park Business Mixer scheduled for this evening, November 12. The networking event brings together entrepreneurs, retailers, and residents to foster collaboration and strengthen neighborhood business ties during the pre-holiday season.

Organized by the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce and led by director Pamala Maass, the event comes at a strategic time as businesses prepare for the holiday shopping season. "I think that there's a lot of opportunity to remind people that they live in community, that there's a lot of small businesses to support, and that we live here, too," Maass noted when discussing community engagement initiatives. The Chamber continues to develop innovative ways to increase commerce among local businesses through various member benefits, serving as a cornerstone of the Wicker Park and Bucktown commercial districts while advancing the financial goals of neighborhood businesses.

Residents interested in learning more about neighborhood developments can also attend the upcoming Wicker Park Advisory Council meeting scheduled for Thursday, November 13, at 6:30 p.m. in the Wicker Park Field House located at 1425 N. Damen Avenue. These community meetings are open to the public and held on the second Thursday of each month, providing opportunities for residents to participate in local decision-making.
