Wicker Park's ChillFest Returns: Local Shops to Host 60+ Musicians for Small Business Saturday

Wicker Park and Bucktown are preparing for the return of ChillFest on Saturday, November 30, 2025. The popular event, which coincides with Small Business Saturday, invites community members to "rock, shop and chill" in many of the neighborhood's independent shops.

Attendees can stroll from venue to venue throughout Wicker Park and Bucktown, enjoying live acoustic performances while shopping, dining, or even getting salon treatments. A diverse range of businesses will transform into impromptu music venues, including boutiques, restaurants, spas, and pet shops. Each business will host one or two artists in dedicated spaces, with musicians playing 30-60 minute sets carefully matched to each venue's ambiance. Organized by the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce, the pop-up event features everything from folk and R&B to chillwave, celebrating "the neighborhood's creative roots while simultaneously driving traffic into local businesses." The festival runs from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. with more than 20 participating venues.
