Uptown residents are in for a special cultural treat this Thursday, November 20, as the Argyle Night Market presents a spectacular Thai showcase featuring performances by the Academy of Thai Classical Music & Dance of Wat Dhammaram Chicago. The evening begins with traditional Thai music at 5:30 pm by DJ Biew, followed by cultural performances at 6:15 pm, and concludes with an innovative fusion of Thai folk instruments and techno music by the group Nurr at 7:15 pm.

Now in its 11th season, the Argyle Night Market has become one of Uptown's most beloved community gatherings. The free outdoor event draws approximately 5,000 visitors each week, offering a vibrant mix of local food vendors, cultural performances, and community connections. The market features both returning favorites and new vendors, creating a dynamic experience that celebrates the neighborhood's diverse culinary and cultural heritage. Held on Argyle Street, the city's first shared street, the event creates a welcoming atmosphere where all community members can enjoy Asian street food while experiencing live performances.
