Lovely Intentions Opens in Wicker Park's Flat Iron Building, Bringing Workshops and Wellness to the Neighborhood

Friends and business partners Jaslim Landaverde and Lisette Renova opened Lovely Intentions this summer in Wicker Park's Flat Iron Arts Building as a brick-and-mortar showcase for their jewelry and candle brands. While the boutique sells bracelets, charms, candles and perfumes, its most unique offering are its regular classes and events. That includes a perfume workshop ($45), a candle making and journaling experience ($55) and a charm bar workshop where attendees can make a bracelet or necklace ($35).

The new shop adds to Wicker Park's growing collection of experiential retail spaces where residents can not only purchase unique items but also learn new skills. Lovely Intentions is open seven days a week with extended hours (Monday-Friday noon-8 p.m., Saturdays 11 a.m.-8 p.m., and Sundays noon-6 p.m.), making it accessible for both weekend shoppers and those looking for after-work activities. The boutique joins several other creative businesses in the historic Flat Iron Arts Building, which has long served as an anchor for Wicker Park's artistic community.
