ChillFest Returns to Wicker Park: 60+ Musicians to Transform Local Shops on Small Business Saturday

Wicker Park and Bucktown are preparing for the return of ChillFest on Saturday, November 30, 2025, coinciding with Small Business Saturday. The popular community event invites residents to "rock, shop and chill" as more than 60 musicians transform neighborhood businesses into impromptu performance venues for the day.

Attendees can stroll from venue to venue throughout Wicker Park and Bucktown, enjoying live acoustic performances while shopping, dining, or even getting salon treatments. A diverse range of businesses will host musicians, including boutiques, restaurants, spas, and pet shops, with each artist playing 30-60 minute sets carefully matched to each venue's ambiance. Organized by the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce led by director Pamala Maass, the pop-up event features everything from folk and R&B to chillwave, celebrating "the neighborhood's creative roots while simultaneously driving traffic into local businesses." The festival runs from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. with more than 20 participating venues.
