Wicker Park's Winter Wonderland & Tree Lighting Returns December 6th with Expanded Holiday Activities

The Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce is bringing holiday cheer to the neighborhood with the annual WPB Winter Wonderland & Tree Lighting on Saturday, December 6, 2025. The festive celebration will transform the area into a holiday paradise from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., featuring an array of family-friendly activities throughout the day.

The free event will include beloved holiday characters, photos with Santa, DIY s'mores stations, hot cocoa, a neighborhood-wide scavenger hunt, and live holiday music. Visitors can hop on holiday rickshaws making stops at themed locations like the North Pole and Whoville while collecting stamps on their Wonderland Maps. The day will culminate with a grand tree lighting ceremony at the Wicker Park Field House located at 1425 N. Damen Avenue. While children enjoy the holiday magic, parents can take advantage of exclusive in-store promotions throughout Wicker Park and Bucktown's shopping corridors, making it the perfect opportunity to shop small and support local businesses. Neighborhood residents and visitors alike are encouraged to bundle up and join this community celebration that has become a cherished tradition in Wicker Park.
